My Client is looking for a Unified Communications Implementation Engineer to join a Fortune Small Business magazine's top 100 fastest growing companies. My client is a global provider of contact center automation, unified communications, and business process automation software and services for mid-size to large organizations backed by 4,500 customers worldwide with annual 2011 revenues of $209.5 million.
Responsibilities will include:
" Primary customer contact for providing accurate and creative technical solutions to user problems of moderate and difficult nature in the areas of networking, systems performance, software and hardware issues, and the CIC application.
" Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, email, web, and web chats in a timely manner, in accordance with current standards.
" Develop and deploy test systems and networks
" Participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of support service.
" Assist in special product-related issues as needed while working closely with the testing, development, support, operations, NOC, and product management teams.
" Position may require some travel to customer sites when necessary.
Technical Skills
" Knowledge of VoIP including the SIP protocol.
" Good knowledge of the Windows 2003/2008 Server operating system and technologies such as domains, Active Directory, and Exchange.
" Knowledge and experience of MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, SQL Server, Oracle, Telecommunications, Server Hardware and/or Database platforms is desirable.
" Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP-based networking including routers, switches, network topologies, etc.
" Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and enterprise technologies.
" Knowledge of VoIP concepts, network and systems administration and troubleshooting.
" Familiarity of data center technologies, including IP routing, virtualization, and high-performance blade computing.

" Perform troubleshooting and Complex problem-solving and analytical skills.
" Strong inter-office and customer communication skills and etiquette.
" Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented.
" Ability to work independently and be resourceful.
Qualifications
" Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Technology, related technical discipline, or equivalent professional technical understanding
