How much should prostate cancer research be getting as compared ...

Question by George McCasland ? Dads Rights: How much should prostate cancer research be getting as compared to breast cancer research?
Recent studies show that the death rates from Prostate Cancer are much higher than previsously thought, higher than even Breast Cancer rates. Even previosuly, there was only a 1% difference in the death rates. Do you know how government research money is provided for Breast Cancer as compared to what is provided for Prostate Cancer?
Recent studies have also found that the PSA for prostate cancer is not as reliable as once thought, so vigilance in taking the test may not help.
The difference is that the government provides $ 1 for Prostate Cancer research for every $ 700 for Breast Cancer. This last year, the very first Federal Men Health Commission was established, but it has to find its own funding. There are over 200, fully funded Federal Women?s Health Commission.
