The 57-year-old Christchurch man found dead at his?Marlborough Sounds bach was Anthony John Robb.
Robb, a Fendalton sales representative,?was found on Monday morning after he fell off a balcony at the?Blackwood Bay bach during the night.
Sergeant Kris Payne, of Picton, said Robb was staying with his wife and son at the family holiday home over the weekend and was due to return home on Monday.
His wife, Joanne, found?him?on the ground below the balcony attached to the mezzanine floor where Robb had been sleeping.
The drop from the balcony was about three metres, Payne said.
Police were still investigating?but were not treating the death as suspicious, he?said.
A death notice for Robb, who was known as Tony, says he has three children.
His?funeral will be held?in Christchurch at 10am on Saturday.
